forever young

"Let us die on let us live forever,
Don't have the power but we never say never,
Sitting in the sandpit life is a short trip,
Music's for the sad man
Can you imagine when this race is run,
Turning up our faces into the sun,
Praising our leaders getting in tune,
Music's played by the mad man
Forever young,
I want to be forever young,
Do you really want to live forever?"

Thursday's 'thinspiration'

thursday thinspiration #4: Anja Konstantinova

bleach blonde hair, big eyes and high cheekbones, the camera loves Anja Konstantinova.  Russian-born beauty should have the modelling world at her feet, but there is just one small hurdle - her height!
The 163cm stunner models under the standard 176cm (5'9"). Anja moved to Melbourne at the age of 12, from St Petersburg. She is currently represented by Priscillas.

street art

This morning i stumbled across this artist named Charmaine Olivia, she is a little bit gothic, a little big crazy but certianly a whole lotta fun!

heres a snippet of her personal bio;

"I was born and raised in Encinitas, California, and i currently reside in San Francisco. I first started drawing with soy sauce napkins and have since upgraded to paper and pen. I love drinking peppermint tea and getting paint on my hands and taking pictures!"

some of her pieces...

you can purchase her stuff off this site!

D.I.Y

Four of my favourite DIY's off the best do it yourself blog i've ever found! Simple, pretty and perfect for the dreary winter melbourne sundays that seem so long and empty.

DIY FRIENDSHIP BRACELET:

very easy and pretty sweet

DIY POMPOM NECKLACE:

cutest accessory ever, something you'd make and actually want to wear :P

DIY RETRO SHIBORI:

DIY WRAP BRACELETS:

street style; touched by the Sartorialist

For those who don't know the Sartorialist, basically its a blog that is run by an American man who didn’t want to become a “fashion photographer” but knew somehow that his loves of fashion and photography would eventually merge. The Sartorialist hits the streets of the worlds most fashionable cities randomly shooting any person who he deems a fashion icon. Visit The Site!

I think the site is uber chic and is a never ending pit of inspiration for any sort of 'outfitty' day. Inspiration for a cocktail look, a picnic in the park look or just a stroll down the street look, the blog really does have it all.

here are some of my favourite recent looks off the site...

also if your up for some fun, somebody has come up with a little website that mixes and matches random images from the original site.. give it a go..
