This week as a part of the year 10 school curriculum i am participating in 'work experience week' which is a week where you get to
experience your preferred work field. All my friends are doing all these meaningful things that will (most likely) be bloody boring and they will hate so i took the lighter option and decided to chose something that i may not consider in the future but i certainly love now. I am working at a clothing shop on possibly my favourite shopping street in the whole of Melbourne (High St) called Eco-D.
I wasn't so nervous going into the work field as i already have a job at Bakers Delight and i am a pretty chatty person as it is so it was chilled putting myself in a new, daunting environment. It was more a-
'what the fuck am i going to wear scenario' so last night i planned my 5 favourite winter looks. I guess a photo for each day would be appropriate, so heres todays look...
This outfit consisted of my fav Arabella Ramsay animal print leggings, Kirrily Johnston long grey throw on and faux fur fest that i always steal off Manf which we found in a market in Paris a couple of years ago. I was also wearing these ripper tan ankle cowboy boots that i picked up on sale at Witchery (the last pair in Victoria- epic win!)
Today was like a fairy tale. I was alice trapped in a wonderland of beautiful clothing. Today such jobs included sorting and pulling looks for the next season summer, organising, tidying, folding and suggesting. Although i was stuck on my feet for most of the day there was NOTHING i would rather be doing more... when your passionate about something you can talk about it all day... for me that 'something' is clothes.
