work experience: day two

I strolled into work today a couple of hours late- which was great it meant a little sleep in! Today my activities were pretty much the same as yesterday. The shop was dumped with a whole lot of new summer gear all of which were in the tones blues, purples, beiges and greys... unfortunately all this clothes meant hours of sorting, tagging and pricing. Working at a clothing store is a 'dangerous job' as my mum says, because i walk about imagining all the clothes in the shop sitting in my cupboard! I'm really enjoying the retail environment; i love admiring all the different customers try on the clothes, i like admiring the way certain necklines flatter different body types and different clothes make skin and eye colours pop. I would say that I'm acquiring new knowledge working- most definitely a different sort of knowledge to my peers at the law firms but i'm still loving it.

as promised, heres todays outfit...

(Today I'm wearing) : a shirt by a brand named 'Somi',
its rouched on the sleeves and on the back and embroidered all over the front.
I usually wear this with my leather jacket but i was in a rush out of the house today so this different sided fur vest was the easiest top layer to add on. I'm wearing my blue Bettina's which have worked me through 3 seasons of summer and winter. I'm never wearing shoes when these photos are taken but i was wearing knee high mushroom coloured leather boots as well.
the necklace I'm wearing is like my latest discovery. I found it in mums jewelery draw... but she bought it on her last trip to India ... its uber awesome, these photos don't do it justice.

until tomorrow xxx
